Visit all the must-see sights of St. Petersburg on a small group walking tour and marvel at the monuments along the banks of the Neva River and city waterways with an English-speaking guide.

Admire the impressive façade and golden dome of Saint Isaac’s Cathedral. See the Bronze Horseman statue of Peter the Great on Senate Square, and look at the State Hermitage Museum from the outside. Be amazed by the size of Palace Square and get the chance to buy souvenirs at the historic Eliseevy Merchants’ Shop on Nevsky Prospect.

Discover where the imperial Romanov family were buried, where St. Petersburg was originally located and much more.

The tour starts at 11:00 at the Palace Square near the Alexander Column. The guide will meet you with a Marina Wilson sign or your name on it. First, you will take a look at the Hermitage Museum ensemble. Visit the Titans of the Hermitage Theatre, see the inner courtyard (the museum visit is not included). Then you will walk across the Palace Bridge and enjoy the view of the Bronze Horseman and St Isaac’s Cathedral. You will have a chance to see the cradle of St Petersburg as well — the Peter and Paul fortress. In the fortress, you will see the so-called «original» statue of Peter the Great and the burial vault of all the Romanovs’ dynasty.

Going back across the Troitsky bridge you will see the Marble Palace, the Summer Garden and probably the most famous cathedral in St Petersburg — Our Saviour on Blood Cathedral with colorful onion domes and mosaics.

The tour ends on Nevsky Prospect at 14:00.
