Tour Itinerary
Day 1 St Petersburg
- Arrival in St Petersburg
- You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel
- The remainder of the day is at your leisure
Day 2 St Petersburg
- Enjoy a panoramic city highlights tour including inside visits to the Cathedral of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood and Peter and Paul Fortress, drive or walk along Nevsky Prospect, the city’s main avenue and visit the Spit of Saint Basil Island
- Lunch
- Yusupov Palace tour
Day 3 St Petersburg
- Morning departure to Tsar’s Village, now called Pushkin
- Tour of Catherine Palace including the famous Amber Room and the surrounding gardens
- Tour of Pavlovsk Palace and gardens
- Russian style lunch in one of the local restaurants
- Return to St Petersburg for a tour of St Isaac’s Cathedral
Day 4 St Petersburg
- Departure to Peterhof with the optional stop on the way to visit a St Petersburg metro station
- Tour of Peterhof Grand Palace and Lower Gardens
- Return to St Petersburg by hydrofoil
- Tour of the Hermitage Museum with the option to visit the Gold Room treasury
Day 5 St Petersburg-Moscow
- Enjoy a free morning before your transfer to the Moscovsky railway station
- Travel to Moscow by the afternoon high-speed train
- Arrive at Leningradsky railway station and transfer to your hotel
Day 6 Moscow
- Enjoy a city highlights tour which is a combination of the walking tour to visit the Moscow metro and then a tour by car to view the Red Square, Bolshoi Theatre, Sparrow Hills, Novodevichy Convent, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
- In the afrernoon you can choose to visit either the Tretyakov Gallery or the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum
Day 7 Moscow
- Day trip to the historic town of Sergiev Posad
Day 8 Moscow
- This day will be dedicated to two most famous Moscow landmarks: the Red Square and the Kremlin. The Kremlin tour includes a visit to the Armoury — a fabulous collection of imperial treasure
Day 9 Moscow
- Private transfer to one of Moscow airports to depart Russia
