The Old Tallinn Walking Tour from the Port will take you through the heart of the old city where you will learn about Tallinn’s many years of fascinating history.
Itinerary:
- 10:00 Meet your guide at the exit gate of the port.
- 10:00-12:00 Start your walking tour in Tallin’s Upper Old Town. You will explore the Fat Margaret Tower, Toompea Castle, Parliament building, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Dome Church. You will also walk down Pikk street — the main street of the medieval Tallinn with the houses of merchant and craftsmen guilds.
- Walk by the Short Leg street to the Lower Old Town where you will see the St Nicolas Church, St Olaf’s Church and Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall square and the oldest Pharmacy in the world.
- 12:30 We will end the tour at the Town Hall square. You will have some free time to explore the old town on your own, to have lunch or do some shopping.
- You will need to return to the port on your own, which is a 15-minute walk away.
