Berlin Highlights Tour
Our Berlin Highlights Tour will take you to the main landmarks of the German capital.
Cost: depends on tour inclusions and number of PAX in your party
Duration: 12 hours (including 5-6 hours travel time to and from the port)
Itinerary:
- You will start your acquaintance with the city in what used to be Western Berlin and your first stop is Charlottenburg Palace. The gorgeous baroque palace was built in 1695 and is known to be a famed masterpiece of German architecture
- You will then continue your tour of Berlin in its political centre – the Reichstag. The building was badly damaged during WWII and later restored by famous architects. Nearby you can find another well-known symbol of Berlin and Germany, the Brandenburg Gate
- Continuing on, you will enjoy a tour down Unter den Linden Boulevard, the famous avenue with plenty of cafes and shops. Our next stop is Museum Island and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. A short distance away is the Victory Column and Berlin Cathedral
- To learn more about the Third Reich and the Cold War Era, you will visit the Hermann Göring’s Aviation Ministry and the former site of Hitler’s Bunker
- Your historical tour will continue at the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, symbols of a divided Germany. You will continue your visit to the East Berlin section by visiting Alexanderplatz, Red City Hall and Humboldt University
- On your way back to the ship you will see more of contemporary Berlin. Certainly, you’ll be charmed by Potsdamerplatz and Kurfurstendamm Avenue, best known as Berlin’s Champs Elysees

Know before you go:
- The pick-up time for the Berlin private tours is usually 30 minutes after your cruise ship docks in the port of Warnemünde — exact pick-up time will be stated in your confirmation letter
- The drive to Berlin is approximately 2,5 hours depending on traffic conditions but this will be a chance to admire the magnificent scenery of Northern Germany
